  • Responsibilities

    The Commercial Services Operations Specialist supports the Commercial Services Officers by performing a variety of administrative services related to Cash Management and responding to routine customer inquiries.   

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Works closely with the Commercial Services Officers providing support with:
      • Preparation of marketing materials for prospect/customer sales calls.
      • Preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFP’s).
      • Opening of new accounts and the related on-boarding processes.
      • Works with customers in collecting and reviewing documents necessary to open an account or cash management product/service.
    • Responds to requests from customers related to cash management products/services including:
      • Collecting and reviewing documents needed for new sales.
      • Preparing documents necessary for limit increases and obtaining applicable approvals from senior management.
    • Responds to requests from internal departments including Compliance, Audit, and Cash Management.
    • Creates customer files in accordance with department standards, policies and ethical standards governing the financial services industry including compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • At least one year of Banking with an understanding of commercial bank products & services
    • Proficiency with MS Office Suite products
    • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to coordinate with various departments and individuals to meet deadlines.
    • Excellent customer/client contact skills
    • High School diploma, GED or equivalent required

    Essential Functions:

     

    • Sitting for extended period of times as required
    • Sufficient dexterity of hands and fingers to efficiently operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components.
    • Ability to converse and exchange information with all levels of staff within organization.
    • Ability to observe, perceive, identify, and translate data
