  • Responsibilities

    The Investment Analyst is responsible for supporting our portfolio management team in the development of our investment strategy, the execution of our strategy in client accounts, and maintaining the information and processes necessary for the successful completion of these functions.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:


    •Conduct regular and as assigned investment and portfolio research projects and stays informed of developments in the market
    •Work closely with portfolio managers in the management of client assets
    •Create asset allocation programs for execution with client accounts and provide recommendations to portfolio management
    •Process trades, capital actions and maturities
    •Responsible for all appropriate completion of paperwork and records maintenance
    •Participate in the development of departmental strategy based on management’s philosophy and objectives
    •Provide account management to assigned customers
    •Work closely with trading, operations and client service areas

    Qualifications

     SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    •Bachelor's degree required;

    •Advanced degree in Finance with ability to achieve Chartered Financial Analyst designation preferred;
    •In-depth understand of securities industry;
    •Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of softward;
    •Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills;
    •Strong verbal and written communication skills;
    •High level of facility at data manipulations;
    •Ability to work independently and multi-task;
    •Detail oriented, flexible, organized, self-starter, and team-player.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

     

    •Sitting for extended periods of time.

    •Ability to observe, perceive, identify, and translate data
